Melham Pond

The pond has a handicap-accessible fishing dock which is open free of charge to Senior Citizens and children under 16.

Calamus Reservoir

State recreation area with fishing, modern campgrounds, and hatchery. Open as one the best outdoor recreation areas in the state. 56 miles northeast of Broken Bow near Burwell.

Victoria Springs State Area

Ten miles north of Merna, 6 miles east of Anselmo. A delighful retreat with fishing, spring water, camping and rental cabin facilities, picnic, playground, and rental rowboats.

Sherman County Dam

Located 40 miles east of Broken Bow near Loup City. Has excellent fishing and camping facilities.

Pressey Special Use Area

Seventeen miles south of Broken Bow. Camping, picnic, and playground. Shallow river swimming and river sports. A perfect spot for the family.
