Mission Statement

"The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization dedicated to the enhancement of regional business opportunities."

We are a community-wide federation of business firms and organizations, both large and small, dedicated to the economic progress and the preservation of a sound business climate.

The Chamber is an organization representing over 250 members, including individuals, businesses, industries and professionals. It is affiliated with the United States Chamber of Commerce and the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Your Chamber of Commerce at Work

  • Recruiting New Members/Retaining Existing Members
    The lifeblood of our organizations. Focus on providing valuable services to our Chamber Members, while attracting new members.

  • Referrals
    Refer individuals to YOU and other members of our Chamber of Commerce.

  • Public Relations and Community Events
    Assist with and attend open houses, Business After Hours, as well as other community events. Serve as an Ambassador for Broken Bow and the surrounding community

  • Annual Promotions
    Coordination of annual events, including Annual Banquet, Men's and Ladies Steak Fries, Demolition Derby, River City Roundup, and Farmer/Rancher Banquet.

  • Ribbon Cuttings
    Assist in promoting new entities through visibility and exposure. Organize ribbon cuttings.

  • Monthly Newsletter
    Updating Chamber members on what's happening at the Chamber and in the Broken Bow community.

  • Tourism
    Provide tourism information upon request via email and personal dispersion.

  • Community Calendar
    A comprehensive calendar. What's happening in and around Custer County?

  • Job Service
    Job listing available to the public. Applicant file available to businesses seeking employees.

  • New Resident/Relocation Packets
    Community-wide information provided to individuals considering relocating to Broken Bow. New resident packets for those who have already relocated.



  • KCNI Public Affairs Program
    Weekly program dedicated to providing community-wide information regarding upcoming events.

  • Business Directory
    A comprehensive listing of all Chamber businesses. Published yearly.

  • Web site
    Updating and maintaing the content of this site.
